Chapter One :Chapter 1

North Moon Continent, Chu Kingdom.

In the center of a massive array, two young girls lay motionless.

"Let me go, Father!" Vivian Hamilton cried out, wrists and ankles chained tightly to the left side of the formation. The bindings bit into her skin, leaving deep bruises that burned with pain.

"Who said I was your father? I’m just borrowing a bit of your blood to heal Brilliana. After all these years of raising you, can’t even do this much? You calling me ‘Father’ is laughable," Lucas Hamilton sneered, his voice cold and unfeeling.

Vivian stared at the man she once called father, his face now foreign and indifferent. Her tears ran freely. From the day her mother passed, her stepmother and Brilliana moved into the Hamilton household, turning her life into a nightmare. Barely allowed scraps to eat, treated worse than servants, and now drained of blood for some twisted ritual. She knew this blood-letting would lead to her death.

Why? Why did he despise her so? "If Mom were still here, she wouldn’t let you treat me like this!" she sobbed.

Lucas scoffed, a cruel smirk twisting his lips. "That wretched woman? She’s dead and gone. Now, I make the rules."

"My mother wasn’t a wretch!" Vivian screamed, anger overtaking her grief. Her memories of her mother were of someone graceful and kind, a figure so loving that no one she’d ever met could compare.Lucas Hamilton slapped Vivian Hamilton hard across the face, his eyes filled with disdain as if looking at a mere mutt. "That wench got pregnant before marriage. If I hadn’t taken her in, no one would’ve married her. And you, you’re nothing but her bastard. She was filth, and so are you!”

“That’s not true. It’s not true!” Vivian clenched her teeth, her voice trembling. She remembered her mother was powerful and that the Hamilton family had risen in Chu Kingdom largely due to her efforts. But after falling mysteriously ill, her mother passed away.

Suddenly, Vivian’s eyes widened as realization struck. After her mother’s death, Lucas had immediately married Mrs. Liu and brought along a daughter—Brilliana Hamilton. “You... you killed my mother, didn’t you?” Her voice broke with suppressed rage and disbelief.

“So what if I did?” Lucas sneered, his grin twisted with cruelty. The admission seemed to delight him. “I only used her to climb up the ladder. Once I got what I wanted, she became useless.”

He watched Vivian writhe in pain and anguish, enjoying every second of her torment. There was no need for him to pretend anymore. “If not for your divine bloodline, I wouldn’t have let you live all these years. You’d have joined your dead mother long ago. But now, it’s time you serve your purpose. The Divine Blood Physique might be useless for cultivation, but it’s perfect for cleansing Brilliana’s godly bones.”

His voice brimmed with satisfaction as he commanded the shaman standing nearby, “Begin.”

On the right side of the ritual altar, Brilliana Hamilton lay quietly, dressed in a light pink flowing gown. She had always known the truth. It was only the pitifully naive Vivian who had remained oblivious."Doesn't matter, I'll soon have Vivian Hamilton's blood! My divine bones will evolve!" Brilliana Hamilton couldn't contain her excitement, the corners of her lips curled upwards at the mere thought of it.

"Lucas Hamilton, let me go! Let me go!" Vivian Hamilton thrashed against the chains, the clanking echo reverberated through the valley.

Ignoring her struggles, the healer sliced open her wrist. Pain struck immediately, and her blood began to flow onto the formation, gradually forming intricate runes.

Brilliana eagerly extended her palm as Vivian’s blood was channeled to her through the array. A scorching sensation spread through her abdomen; her divine bones in the sea of qi swelled, nourished and transforming.

Seeing this, Lucas Hamilton’s face lit up, "It's wonderful, absolutely wonderful!"

Two hours later, Brilliana stood up with a bright smile. "Father, I’ve succeeded."

Above, a dazzling scene unfolded—the sky filled with multicolored clouds, dragons and phoenixes soared, beams of light poured down into the valley. It was as if the heavens had opened, spilling magnificent golden brilliance that spread across the whole Chu Kingdom.

"An anomaly! It's an anomaly! Brilliana, your divine bones have caused an anomaly—show Father!" Lucas could hardly contain his excitement as he reached out to examine his daughter’s transformation.

The more he probed, the happier he became. "Extreme Gold Divine Bones. Incredible!"Before the blood cleansing, Brilliana Hamilton’s bone was nothing more than a pile of junk riddled with impurities. Who would have thought it could transform into the rare, top-tier Extreme Gold Divine Bone—practically unheard of across the entire continent, not just in the Chu Kingdom.

This meant the Hamilton family would rise to become a leading family in Chu Kingdom, undoubtedly securing its dominance.

Lucas Hamilton’s excitement was hard to contain. His hands trembled as he stared at the results. "That wretched girl’s divine blood physique truly lives up to its name. Sure, she can't cultivate herself, but she’s more than worthy as a sacrificial offering for my Brilliana. Those years weren’t wasted feeding that useless thing."

Brilliana’s lips curved into a pleased smile as her gaze casually swept toward Vivian Hamilton, lying motionless and lifeless nearby. Vivian’s face was ghastly pale; her body had stopped showing any signs of life.

"Father, is she dead?" Brilliana asked softly.

Lucas didn’t even spare Vivian a glance, only sneering with contempt. "Throw her far away," he ordered the healer. "Make sure no one gets wind of this."

Leaving with Brilliana, Lucas's face was glowing, pride swelling from every step. It was as if their world revolved around the father-and-daughter bond—a perfect picture of familial bliss. Not once did his eyes drift back to Vivian Hamilton sprawled lifeless in her corner.

The healer checked Vivian briefly; her body had grown cold. She was, indeed, as good as dead. With no ceremony, she was tossed unceremoniously into a nearby ravine like discarded waste.

Once the healer left, Vivian’s body began radiating faint golden light. Energy began converging on her from all directions. Where silence once reigned, her lifeless eyes slowly opened; her gaze was sharp, and her pupils swirled with chaotic, blood-colored lotus patterns. For just an instant, those patterns burned brightly before fading into the depth of her dark eyes."I’m back." She curled her lips into a cold, bloodthirsty smile. Her fingers brushed the wound on her left hand, and it healed instantly.

She was none other than the Demon Dao Patriarch. In her past life, she had risen to prominence through the dark arts, only to be betrayed by her most trusted disciple. During her tribulation, she fell, her soul finding refuge in this body.

She had been trapped in the body of this girl for some time, witnessing every suffering the girl endured, unable to intervene. Fortunately, the girl possessed a Chaos Physique; otherwise, both of them would have perished.

"Revenge... avenge me..." The original soul's final, anguished plea echoed, lingering just before fading away.

"Naturally," Vivian Hamilton replied without pause. Since she now inhabited this body, she couldn’t allow its original owner to be wronged without payback.

She spread her hands, forming a quick gesture with her fingers. In an instant, a large, snow-white tiger solidified before her.

The Beast Command technique was still effective. A faint smile crossed her lips. She mounted the White Tiger in one smooth motion, letting it carry her back to its den.

After a few days of recuperation, her body had mostly recovered.

She began testing cultivation techniques.

This body wasn’t a Divine Blood Physique—it was a Chaos Physique, a rarity among rarities, a thousand times more precious. The Hamilton family’s cultivation methods, however, were utter trash, wholly unfit for her to use.Lucas Hamilton, that fool, drained her blood just for a pathetic golden divine bone. Blind and stupid.

Vivian Hamilton worked her cultivation technique, and the spiritual energy in her body gathered quickly. In just half a month, she had already reached the eighth level of the Qi Refining Stage, with the Foundation Establishment Stage just around the corner.

If her memory served her right, that old bastard Alec Hamilton was at the fifth level of the Foundation Establishment Stage, and Brilliana Hamilton was only at the fifth level of Qi Refining.

If she returned now, going head-to-head wasn’t an option—she’d stand no chance against the Hamilton family. But as the former Demon Path Ancestor, she had plenty of tricks up her sleeve.

The only issue was this cave. It was barren, lacking any materials. She’d need to head out and gather resources.

Standing up, she stretched lazily. After days of recovery, her body was much better. Some color had returned to her face, soft and rosy, making her look delicate and innocent.
